Reevaluated!

Reevaluated!

I was challenged by Simon Says Stamp Blog a couple of weeks ago to recycle some things set aside. I had loved the Flowers and Swirls Bold Prints Stamp when I saw it, and I ordered it believing it would become a favorite! I was very unhappy with my first attempt at using it, and then ignored it for quite a while. I decided to try again, and I pulled my water reactive inks from Hero Arts. I dabbed them randomly, sprayed with water, blowed the water around and left to dry. I then began to ponder what part of it to use for a card. I found a favorite spot and used my Penny Black Antique Frames to cut it out. Next, I decided to use my SSS Splendid Leaves embossing folder, which had also been put aside after not quite being able to figure out a nice way to use it. I inked up the flat side with white pigment ink, ran it through my Gemini. I loved the look, cut it using the larger PB Antique Frame. Used SSS’s Groovy Happy Birthday die with shadow. Finished it off with some gold DMC thread made into a bow and secured with a large gold Trinity Stamps bauble. I am in love with all of these things again!
