About Me

Hi, I’m Melanie! Thanks for visiting my blog! Ever since I can remember rainy days have inspired me. They inspire me to start new projects, to learn something new, to clean things, to try a new recipe, to reflect on the goodness of God, to read a new book or revisit an old one, and most recently to give creativity a try in creating beautiful cards. I love photography and will share a bit of that from time to time.

 Fridays represent transitions to me, and I find transitions inspiring as well: looking to the past to evaluate what one needs to hold on to and looking to the future to determine what changes one needs to embrace. I hope to share with you just a bit of whatever has captured my mind, occupied my time, edified my spirit and inspired me.

I get to enjoy life with my amazing husband Todd. We have two incredible sons, Spencer and Alexander that are now married to Alice and Logan respectively and they are pretty special too, and just this year (2019) we have welcomed our first grandchild into the world. His name is Levi, and we absolutely adore him. We have so many great memories centered around family meals together, so I will be saving some of their favorites here.
