Glimmer and Sparkle Thanks

It was a wonderful day to make cards! Hurricane Ida was still with us, but thankfully we were mostly getting lots of rain with some occasional heavy wind gusts. With the temps down from all the rain I was also getting the feel for fall, which not being a fan of summer at all, I always find myself looking forward to. I wanted to give gel press backgrounds another try, and the Simon Says Stamp Cling Stamp Botanical Split Background Hello Beautiful was perfect for creating this background. I was inspired by a video by Jennifer McQuire demonstrating how to make gel press backgrounds with one using this same stamp. I also used the Simon Says Stamp Etched Laurel Leaves Wafer Die. I ink blended the leaves to have a fall appearance. I then finished the card off cutting thanks with a die from Mama Elephant and adding shiny gold bow and baubles by Trinity Stamps. I also swiped over the leaves with Wink of Stella for a bit of extra shimmer.
